Question: Approximately how long does it take for me to get my order?

 Answer: Shipping will begin Nov. 12 this year. Any orders in by 12:00 on Tuesday will go out on the shiping trucks by the end of the week. Any orders coming in after that will go out the following week. If by any chance we can get any other packages out before the next week we will, but please remember that your packages will be scheduled to ship the following week. It takes 5-7 working days from the shipping date(working days do not include weekends or holidays). If you need it there sooner we do offer expedited services for an additional charge. Please call us about charges.

 
Question: Are you the place on Griffin Road that has the great key lime pie?
 
Answer: Yes we are located on Griffin, and we do have Terry's famous key lime pies by the tart, whole, fresh or frozen.
 
Question: Can I order Key Lime Pie Juice only?
 
Answer: Yes, we have 8oz-2.95, 16oz-3.95 & gallons-14.95. Depending on where you live and the weight of your package will depend on what your UPS charge would be. You can call 800-227-0203 and we can help you with that order!
 
Question: Can avacados be frozen?
 
Answer: No, I don't suggest freezing them.
 
Question: Can I order Laphams jellies by themselves?
 
Answer: Yes, you can order jellies by themselves. The prices are as follows: 3-1# jars-$18.95, 6-1# jars-$30.95, 3-1/2# jars-$15.95, 6-1/2# jars-$25.95. Please add $7.95 per order fo shipping and handling.
 
Question: Do we include gift cards in our packages.
 
Answer: Yes we put a card in the box from the label. Please remember we have limited amount of space to write so make your notes short & sweet. Thank you!
 
Question: Do you carry Mineola oranges? Why are they only available in April?
 
Answer: Yes we do have Mineola oranges. They are well known as the Honeybell!! Actually the season is not April, it is January. They are only available then because that is the time of year they are harvested. They usually come out the very end of December and run through January. This year we had a great season for them, they ran from December through March. (However that is rare-they are usually just here for about 6 weeks.)
 
 Question: Do you have a list of pies available?
 
Answer: Yes, we have Key Lime Pie, Banana Cream Pie, Chocolate Mousse Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, Chocolate Turtle Pie, Oreo Cookie Pie, Pecan, Peach, Apple and Blueberry.
 
Question: Do you have a store like a store where we can shop, and how do your prices compare to the grocery store?
 
Answer: Yes, we do have a gift store available for you to come shop at. Located at 5660 Griffin Road, Davie Florida. Come on in and visit us, we'd love to see you!
 
Question: Do you ship fudge seperately?
 
Answer: Yes, we do ship our fudge. It is $20.95 per pound shipped.
 
Question: Do you sell Orange Blossom Perfume?
 
Answer: I don't have any at the moment, however we do carry it during season when we can get it in. Please call 800-227-0203 and let me know what you are looking for and I will see if I can get some in and how much it is.
 
Question: Do you ship Terry's Key Lime Pies and what is the price?
 
Answer: We do ship, 3 at a time for $140.00 UPS overnight delivery. Although we can not guarentee the delivery of them when they arrive we do suggest that you refreeze them before unpackaging them. They leave here frozen (without whipped cream, the pie is shrunk wrapped to contain it while traveling) and will be thawed by the time of arrival. Our customers still enjoy a delicious dessert!
 
Question: Do you ship to Boston Mass.?
 
Answer: Yes, We ship all over the continental United States. Please note effective 05/01/06-We can no longer send any items with citrus fruit via U.S.P.S, UPS., DHL. or Fed-Ex to Arizona, California, Louisiana or Texas. No European shipments. There are many other great gift ideas for your friends or family in these states.  Please surf our web site or call for more information.
 
Question: Does an Avacado sprout new branches from old wood? Meaning no leaf nodes.
 
Answer: Check with your local county agent office they can help you better with that. If it is dead wood it will not sprout, if it is live wood it should.
 
Question: How are oranges shipped?
 
Answer: We harvest the fruit, carefully select the best ofthe bunch, package them up in our tray packs and ship them by our trucks to the destination point. It takes 5-7 working days from the day that it leaves the packing house. If someone wanted an order faster than that we could ship out UPS for an additional charge.
 
Question: How can I get a brochure?
 
Answer: Call 800-227-0203 and ask us we will send one right out.
 
Question: How do you know when to pick avacados?
 
Answer: When you can hear the seed shake inside they are ready to go!
 
Question: It is the end of October...how can I tell if the avocados on my tree are ready to pick?
 
Answer: Hold one in your hand without pulling it off, if the seed inside moves it is ready to go.
 
Question: What are the growing seasons for Navel & Valencia oranges?
 
Answer: Navels are available from November-January, Sunburst Tangerines-November-December, Honeybells -January,Murcott Tangerines-January-March Temples-February, Valencias March-May. Ruby Red Grapefruit (also known as the Pink Grapefruit) November-May.
 
Question: What is a mineola? What is a tangelo?
 
Answer: They are one in the same fruit, also well known as the Honeybell Orange! It is a tangerine-grapefruit hybrid with few seeds. They are available in the month of January.
 
Question: What is the shipping charge on oranges shipped via PA?
 
Answer: the shipping charge by our standard trucks which start running in November is 8.95 per package.
 
Question: What would the total cost to ship 1 keylime pie to the New England area be?
 
Answer: I am sorry but we only ship 3 key lime pies at a time-they go without whipped cream. The cost is $140.00. They get shipped overnight UPS, sent out frozen, ready to eat when they arrive but have a sticker on the box to refreeze or refrigerate before opening. We can not guarentee the shipment. If you want 1 key lime pie, we ship 1 pie with our stone crab dinners. We do not have the capability of just shipping 1 pie at a time.
 
Question: When are honeybells available?
 
Answer: Honeybell season is January. Sometimes we have them the tail end of December!
 
Question: When do you pick grapefruit?

Answer: Grapefruit season starts mid october. You need to pick one off the tree and try it, if it tastes good they are ready for picking.

Question: Why do orange growers spray their crops with water when they think they might freeze?

Answer: They spray their crops because the water insulates the plants.
