A&E Summer TV Show "The Glades" to feature Bob Roth's New River Groves

Iconic Davie storefront will be closed Friday, June 18, as it adds another location shoot to its resume

If you watch the new TV show "The Glades" airing on A&E starting July 11, and feel a little deja vu ... could be that you've caught the episode that will be filmed this Friday at Bob Roth's New River Groves. To make room for camera crews, TV stars and other production personnel, New River Groves will be closed for the day.

The crime drama will be set in South Florida, specifically, Palm Glade. So our Florida farmers market and gift store make the perfect backdrop.

As many long-time visitors are aware, Bob Roth's New River Groves has served as a backdrop for scenes from other productions large and small, one of the most notable being the 1996 movie, "The Substitute", starring Tom Berenger.

Bob Roth's New River Groves is pleased to welcome the cast and crew of "The Glades" this Friday, and proud that our Sunshine State will be featured in another high quality TV Show.
